Be-lated

Okay, so my birthday was around 6 weeks ago now and I know I said I was going to do a post about what I got/bought for my birthday so here it is....a tad late (sorry!)

I've recently started a new job so I've been a busy bee so I do apologise for the wait of this post!

Here's on overview of what I'll be going through..

...

First off, this bag is from good old Primark, which I bought with my birthday money, it was £6 I think? I can't quite remember now but I loved it as soon as it caught my eyes. Such a versatile black bag.
The shoes is what my mum got me and they were £40 from Next. They are real leather and they're pretty different to what I'd normally choose but I love them! I was wanting some white shoes to wear for my new job and these were perfect!

These boots are from Matalan for £22 which I bought with my birthday money. I have done a blog post about these boots so take a look if you haven't already! :)
Hmm now.. these CĂ©line t-shirts, I admit I am a tad late with jumping on the bandwagon with these but I just had to get one! This one is from Ebay - here for £6.99!

This T-shirt is from my AMAZING friend Ruth! Now let me tell you, she is one clever bugger for picking birthday presents and because we always send each other silly gifts from past conversations/events I am always giggling at the things she sends me!
I think she got this from MoonPig? And i'm not sure how much it was as it was a gift but it has loads of pics of myself and her on it and I think it is awesome...and yes Ruth I have actually worn it ;)
The earrings are also from Primark for £3. I instantly fell in love with these which is strange for me as I don't really fancy Pat Butcher earrings but they are kinda' becoming my guilty pleasure..

I bought these sunglasses with my money and they were £14 from Topshop! My new favourites!
I can't see this style on their website anymore but they do have these which are basically the same just a different colour.
The necklace was in the sale at Next so I doubt it's available anymore (Sorry guys!) but it was down from £18 to £8! I also already had a pair of earrings that matched the necklace from H&M so I was rather impressed!

This necklace was also bought with my money but was again, bought in the Next sale so I doubt theres any more available! ( :( ) but it looks so good under the collar of a shirt and to add a pop of colour to your outfit!
The perfume was a gift from my little Godson :) and it smell SO NICE! This is defo on my list of favourite perfumes!

Again, I think I may have caught the bandwagon a bit late with the 'Zara' skort but I have been wanting one for AGES so as soon as the bofday came around I knew that was the first thing I was getting as it had been on my 'watch list' on Ebay for so long! This one was £5.99 and you can get it here. I have also just recently bought it in black because I love it that much! Such a versatile piece that I can wear it with either boots or converse in the day and exchange them for heels at night!
The only downfall is that it's see through at the back :( not sure about the black one yet as I haven't received it yet but I just wore white nickers with this one and you couldn't see a thing which made me so happy as I love them!
The bag is another piece that has been on my 'watch list' on Ebay for so long! It's the Alexander Wang look-a-like of the 'strappy bag' and I LOVE IT. I take it literally everywhere and it looks exactly like the real thing.
You can get it here for just £39.99!

This jumper is honestly the best thing ever and I cannot wait for winter to come so I can wear it more! I found it in the Topshop sale for £20 down from 40 I think? But I just love chunky knit cardi's/jumpers and love feeling toasty warm. So this is perfect.
Ahh..the Converse. Everyone needs some right? Although, I do need new ones right now as these are pretty ditched as I have worn them EVERY DAY since I bought them..so comfy.

*Screams* MY MICHAEL KORS! I finally have one! So my gorgeous, brilliant, wonderful, fantastic, awesome boyfriend got me this! I have actually been begging for one of these for absolutely ages so as soon as he said he would take me to pick one out I couldn't keep my excitement in! As soon as we entered the store and I looked at the watches I just knew I had to have this one. It's b e a uuuutiful and I LOVE IT!
I'm not going to say what price this was but if anyone knows about these watches or even if you google them, you will know that they aren't cheap! So get beggin' ya boyfriends/mums/dads/brothers/sisters/aunties/uncles/teachers/managers/neighbours/dogs..whoever you can find to buy you one of these because trust me it does pay off in the end and it is soooo worth it! ;)
The phone case was again, in the sale at Topshop for £5 so I'm not sure if it will still be available but I do kinda' love this case!

This pleather skater skirt was in the sale at Newlook for £7! I actually haven't worn it yet but I defo will get round to it as it's another very versatile piece that can be worn with Converse or boots, heels or tights.
I have my hands on some MUJI drawers! Before, my makeup was just literally chucked into a organiser inside my wardrobe and I was forever getting mad about where my mascara had gone or my eyeliner so I thought I would invest in these drawers (that I had also seen a lot of bloggers hyping them up) to sort my crap out! As soon as these drawers arrived I had a major clean out of all the shitty makeup I didn't use/want anymore so they was all binned and walah! nice fresh makeup box on my dresser. Why I didn't think of this sooner I do not know..:) You can buy these here and there are so many different ones to choose from but this one was £11.50 and then the more makeup you buy the more drawers you can buy to stack them up! Simples.

...

I will definitely be doing another post either tomorrow or Thursday (I'm working tomorrow so if I get time tomorrow I will do one) just on some more pieces I've randomly bought since my birthday. It's not a lot as I will admit I've been short on cash haha but I love the pieces I have managed to buy espesh my new heels I spotted in Primark that are identical to ones in Zara and I'm so excited to wear them! So I'll give you a little post about them.

Spend Vs Save...

I wanted to do a little spend Vs save for you but this time I wanted to do it a little different as I had already bought these shoes at such a bargain when I found them online at a more expensive price tag.
It was my birthday last Wednesday and with my money I headed over to Matalan. I love Matalan as you can find some really good bargains in there and they have some great on trend pieces!

These shoes for example I found them and instantly fell head over heels (;)) in love with them! I'm not much of a heel person for day time looks I am more of a casual converse kinda' gal but I think these are perfect for a day time look and still make it look laid back and casual. They don't have much a heel but still give you that bit of height.
So I purchased these right away and couldn't wait to get them on my feet.

As I got home I was searching through an online site called next2nowt (such a good bargain site!) and by chance these bad boys caught my eye!

They are from Topshop (but are now sold out on their website) and had a price tag of £90!! You can imagine the smirk on my face as I had just purchased a much nicer  version (in my opinion) for £22!

So head over to Matalan now and get your bargain or if you prefer the Topshop ones from Next2Nowt click here to get ya hands on them but be quick because when they're gone they're gone and they are only £40!
I'll be doing a birthday post soon of all the pretty things I have bought with my birthday money so come back soon! :)

Wedding bells

So on Saturday I went to my first wedding in 7 years (!) and it was a complete nightmare finding an outfit but as soon as I saw this in River Island (one week before the big day) I knew it was the perfect dress!
I have been wanting to start doing outfit posts and as soon as my eyes caught this beauty I knew it would be the perfect outfit to start them off.
The wedding was at Van Dyk Hotel in Clowne so we booked a room and stopped over for the night. So that meant I had the excuse to take another outfit with me just incase I wanted to change but once I had got this bad boy on I was not taking it off!
I also went and had my hair done at the hairdressers that morning so you can imagine what a laugh it was when me and my boyfriend was trying to get it over my bun without messing my french plait up! And it is unbelievably heavy so it was a task getting it on but once it is on, you don't even feel the weight.
The only bad point about this dress is if you don't keep an eye on it then the lining of the dress can ride up and you will be showing your underwear to everyone around you! It isn't easy to go to the loo either but I managed it and nothing was stopping me from wearing this all day and all night! Also, I personally think I deserve a gold medal for wearing my heels for 13 hours straight!
Fashion is pain ;)

Motel - Swimming with style

As soon as I received the email from Motel about this competition, I knew I had to enter.
I have had my eye on this two-peice and I gotta get my hands on it!
I haven't got a holiday booked as of yet this year, but I have worked my butt off for 7 months trying to make my little fashion store work which I am so proud of and I think it's about time I treat myself and book a little get away so this bikini would be the best gift to take with me!

Play Reserved Beach Towel - (from) £9.98
H&M Aztec Bag - £14.99
Missguided cap - £8.99

My favourite colour is white (if you call it a colour, as it is all colours?!) so this bikini caught my attention straight away. Not to mention white also enhances your tan so this is actually my ideal bikini as I am so pale!
I love the floral print and the dash of colour here and there and the strap just completes the look. The strap can also be removed which is perfect for the tan lines.
I have paired my bikini with the pink jelly sandal shoe from River Island as I love to just be able to chuck on my shoes and head for a hotdog and chips when around the pool.
Everyone needs a hat when on holiday and this one is perfect for me as I love caps. I also like to tie everything in colour-wise so these also go well with the jellies.
Next, the sunglasses. These beauties are from Topshop and I NEED to get them.I also love them in white which matches this bikini brilliantly.
The bag is from H&M and is perfect for the beach. I took a clear one with me on my jollies last year and what a regret that was! It went a funny colour and it wasn't pleasant to carry around by the end of the two weeks, not to mention everyone could see my belongings! Not the best idea i've had. So this aztec drawstring bag would be perfect!
When I have a super cute bikini on, I don't like to cover it up but when you're heading into the diner for food I think it's just polite to cover up a tad so this tie dye top paired with some shorts would be the best to wear just to grab your dinner in. And the best part is, it's also backless so you can still show off the print on your bikini underneath. It's then easy to whip off as soon as you get back to your sun bed to carry on with the tanning and show off your swimwear!

...Who doesn't need a reserved towel to put on your sunbed!?

You can also get 20% off all the great items on the Motel website if you enter kayleighwilson at the checkout! :)

Bloggin'

I just wanted to share with you guys another blog post that the lovely Megan from whats new pussycatt has done for The Frow.
Again, she has styled the black leathette top with contrasting white sleeves and I must say it is quite similar to how Hannah styled it. (Check out my last blog post.)
In my opinion, Megan has put a more relaxed and casual finish to the outfit and made the look more sporty.
Check out Megan's full blog here and take a look at more images of her blog post about The Frow here
Thanks again to Megan for this blog post! :)
